There is a frequent bus service with stops close to the hotel entrance. Just turn left out of the hotel and walk down the road a very short distance. See the photo below.
The Tenerife Buses are operated by Titsa and are a bright green colour. From outside the Hotel you can catch bus number 122 to either Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife or Candelaria, the next town. (More about Candelaria and Santa Cruz in separate posts)
From the main bus station in Santa Cruz De Tenerife, the Capital City, you can catch a bus to take you anywhere on the island.

To catch the bus to Santa Cruz from the hotel, you need to wait at the bus stop on the opposite side of the road to the hotel entrance. It’s indicated in the photo below.
Bus number 122 runs approx every 30 minutes and the journey into Santa Cruz takes less than 20 minutes.
You can buy a rechargeable “TEN+” bus card from the shop directly to the right of the Spa Fish/hairdressers shop.
The card cost 2 euros when you first buy it and you can add as much credit in euros as you like.
10 euros is good to start with.
When you get onto the bus, tell the driver where you are going and how many are travelling.
When he tells you to, scan the card.
*Important*: When you get off the bus via the centre doors, scan the card again and it will show you how much credit you have left.
You can also pay the driver with cash of course.

When you arrive at the Bus Station in Santa Cruz, the 122 stops at a bay on the upper level.
There are another two levels. It’s a large Bus Station!
There is also a very large department store “El Corte Inglis” right next to it.
